The Crawdad Festival, LLC, is the proud orchestrator of "The Crawdad Festival," a vibrant celebration that emerged as the largest crawfish festival in Northern California. Established in 2022, our company triumphantly launched this drawing an astounding crowd of over 70,000 participants—a testament to our commitment to delivering unforgettable experiences.

Fueled by the resounding success of our inaugural year, we strategically decided to relocate the festival from Isleton, California to Sacramento, California, aiming to provide an even more enriched and enjoyable experience. Our move provided numerous advantages, including ample parking, enhanced accessibility, reduced traffic, and proximity to a range of hotels catering to out-of-town travelers.

At The Crawdad Festival, we pride ourselves on curating a community-oriented, multicultural, and family-centric event. Scheduled annually for Father's Day Weekend, our festival brings together diverse audiences to immerse themselves in the lively atmosphere. The essence of Cajun cuisine, live music, family activities, and parades converges to honor Father's Day Weekend, creating a dynamic and inclusive environment.

Our dedication to authenticity shines through in the culinary delights we offer. Indulge in the taste of Louisiana with thousands of pounds of specially imported crawdads from Louisiana crawdad farms. Beyond crawdads, our diverse range of delectable options from various vendors includes fried alligator, frog legs, catfish, gumbo, bayou chicken, colossal barbecued turkey legs, and other Louisiana-inspired desserts.

Music enthusiasts will find a haven at our festival, where live bands deliver blues, jazz, rhythm & blues, rock, country and Louisiana Zydeco, infusing energy into the festivities.
